Detective Inspector JB Bass

Late of the Prince Consort's Own 95th Rifle Brigade and of Her Majesty Queen Victoria's special military black operations unit. Retiring with full military honours in the year of 1885 after the second Anglo-Afgan war.

Highly decorated for services rendered to Queen and country and rising to the rank of Major, James Bartholomew Bass along with his brother in arms and closes friend Major Alan Tiberius Blackmore were recommended by their army supervisors to the Metropolitan Police Force under the command of Chief Superintendent Frank Abilene of Leman Street Division, Whitechapel District, City of London.
